Your Guide to the Run Into Summer 5K in Nashua, NH

Running is a great recreational activity with positive health benefits, so why not do it for a good cause, as well? The Run Into Summer 5K is approaching, so we’re going to let runners like you in the Nashua, Merrimack and Manchester area know the details so you can participate in this charitable marathon. The Host of the Run Into Summer 5K

This event will be hosted by the Salvation Army of Nashua and it is open to the public. The Salvation Army of Nashua helped serve more than 14,000 people with food, clothing, holiday and assistance programs to better their lives. The Salvation Army strives to help humanity with hunger relief, homeless services, youth camps and elderly services. Now, with the Run Into Summer 5K, they’ll help even more. Proceeds and funds for this event go to the Salvation Army of Nashua to help them further their mission of helping out those in need.

Run Into Summer 5K Event Details

The Run Into Summer 5K will take place on June 23rd. The event will begin at 6:15 p.m. and it will end at 8:00 p.m. Registration for this event is on the day of the race from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Individual runners can pre-register online for $25 and members of a team can pre-register for $22.

On race day registration, the price is $30. Children under the age of 11 can participate in this marathon for free. The first 100 pre-registered runners will receive a free t-shirt. Teams of 10 will receive a shirt with their team name on the back. Teams of 15 or more will receive a uniquely colored t-shirt with their team name on the back.

This race will take place at Greeley Park at 100 Concord Street in the north end of Nashua. The marathon will run through the winding paths of the 125-acre park and runners will have a beautiful view of the Merrimack River. The event is open to the public who are encouraged to bring pets and strollers and watch the runners compete to help the Salvation Army raise money for their great work. This marathon will be a run/walk race, meaning that any level of running skill is accepted and encouraged.

At the end of the race, awards will be given to the top runners. The top 3 overall men and women, as well as winners of age groups, will walk away with a trophy. After the event, food and refreshments will be served.
